Those facing the next step in their education are frequently faced with some tough choices – an institute such as a military school, boarding school or foreign college, despite providing their students with invaluable experiences, often instil a feeling of fear to the applicants – to live away from home is a life changing decision and should not be taken lightly. This is the principle reason we highlight the need for research when electing your choice of institute.

Living away from your parental home isn’t always necessary – there are many online schools and colleges which provide excellent education programs. However, the decision to take a step towards independence is almost always positive. In the unlikely case that the experience isn’t positive, remember that the decision is never concrete. Changes can always be made to your education program and so there is little to no risk involved; you do not lose anything by trying, yet there is so much to be gained.
